Planning a celebration comes with approximately 847 questions. Here are the answers to the ones I get most — from planning services and destination celebrations to party packs, travel & everything in between.

The basics

Not sure if your celebration falls under something I plan? Start here. If there’s a party involved, chances are I can help.

  • Bachelorette parties, bridal showers, engagement parties, birthdays, honeymoons, girls’ trips & destination celebrations are my bread and butter — but I’m always down to hear what you’re planning.

    If it involves good people, a reason to celebrate & approximately 47 decisions nobody wants to make, there’s a pretty good chance I can help.

  • Nope! Dairyland is the vibe, not the boundary. I work with clients across the U.S. and plan destination celebrations too. Wisconsin is home base — and where I offer select in-person services — but you definitely don’t have to be local to work with me.

  • You don’t have to figure that out before reaching out. Tell me what you’re planning, what you already have figured out & where you’re feeling stuck. I’ll help point you toward the level of support that actually makes sense — no paying for help you don’t need.

  • Absolutely. You don’t need to hand me a blank slate. If you already have the destination, venue, Airbnb or half the weekend planned, we can pick up from there. I’ll work with what you already have and help fill in the gaps.

  • Please. That’s half the job. 😂 I’ll help narrow down the options, keep the plan realistic & give the group something concrete to react to instead of letting the group chat debate the same three restaurants for six weeks.

  • I’ll make recommendations, narrow down the options & help move things forward, but it’s still your celebration. My job is to make the decisions easier — not plan a party nobody in your group actually wants.

  • Yep! Bach energy is not gender-exclusive. Bachelor parties, co-ed groups & mixed-gender celebrations are absolutely welcome. If the group’s fun and the vibe’s strong, I’m in.

  • Very. 😂 If your dog, cat or other honorary member of the party needs to be worked into the celebration, I fully support it. Just keep in mind that venues, accommodations & activities may have their own pet policies, so we’ll plan accordingly.

  • Potentially! Weddings are taken on a case-by-case basis depending on the date, location & level of planning support you need. If you’re looking for help planning your wedding, reach out and tell me what you have in mind. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll go from there.

Planning & booking

So you’re thinking about bringing me in? Here’s the good stuff — when to book, what happens if you’ve already started planning & how we’ll work together from there.

  • Email is the best way to reach me and keeps all the important details in one place. Once you’re a client, we’ll also establish how communication will work throughout the planning process.

  • Start by choosing the service or package that feels closest to what you need and submitting an inquiry. From there, I’ll review the details, make sure we’re a good fit & walk you through the next steps. Not sure which package you need? That’s okay — I can help with that too.

  • As early as possible — especially for destination trips, larger groups or popular dates. But I love a good last-minute miracle, so if your celebration is coming up quickly, reach out anyway.

  • Absolutely. If you have questions about your celebration, what I offer or which level of support makes sense, reach out. You don’t have to have everything figured out before contacting me.

  • Absolutely. If none of the standard packages quite fit what you need, reach out and tell me what you’re looking for. Custom planning support can be built based on your celebration, timeline, needs & my availability.

  • Yes. A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due according to the payment schedule outlined when you book. Your date isn’t officially reserved until your deposit and required booking paperwork are completed.

  • Of course. I’m not here to blow your wallet — I’m here to help you figure out where your money is best spent and find options that make sense for your group. You don’t need an unlimited budget to have an incredible celebration.

  • Totally fine. I work with everything from intimate celebrations to bigger groups. Group size can affect things like accommodations, reservations, transportation & pricing, but we’ll take all of that into account while planning.

  • It depends on what you’re booking and the service you’ve selected. I can help research and coordinate accommodations, activities, transportation & other trip details. Some reservations may need to be booked directly by someone in your group, and I’ll always make it clear what I’m handling versus what you’ll need to book.

  • Absolutely! I’ll help narrow down destinations based on your group’s vibe, budget, time of year & what you actually want to do. Think of me as your ✨ party matchmaker. ✨

  • Absolutely. Already booked the Airbnb, venue, photographer, activity or another vendor? Great. I’ll work with what’s already in place and build from there — no starting over just because you brought me in later.

  • Usually, yes! If you realize you need more support along the way, just ask. Additional planning, coordination, design, concierge services & other add-ons may be available depending on your timeline and my availability. We’ll always talk through any additional pricing before adding anything.

  • Not unless you book me to — and I pack well. 😉 Most of my planning services are virtual, but select in-person setup and coordination services are available depending on the celebration, location & level of support you need.

  • You’ll remain responsible for signing vendor contracts and paying vendors directly unless otherwise specified as part of your service. Dairyland Bach Co. does not front money or pay vendors on your behalf. I can help with research, communication & coordination, but any vendor payments will come directly from you or your group.

  • Depending on your package, yes. Guest communication, RSVP management, travel details, reminders & other group coordination may be included or added to your planning services. If it’s not part of your package, I’ll give you everything you need to communicate with the group yourself.

  • It depends on your package! Some planning packages include guest communication toward the end of the planning process, so I can help make sure everyone has the final details they need before the celebration. During the main planning process, I typically work with one designated point person to keep communication organized and decisions moving.

Travel & destinations

Taking the celebration somewhere else? Here’s what to know about destination planning, travel help, accommodations & all the logistics that come with getting the group from here to there.

  • Yes! I can help plan trips within the U.S. and international destinations. Whether you’re heading somewhere a few states away or pulling out the passports, I can help bring the trip together.

  • Absolutely. You don’t need to start from scratch. If you already know where you’re going, I can jump in with accommodations, activities, dining, transportation, itinerary planning & the other details that turn a destination into an actual trip.

  • Yep! Multi-stop trips just come with a few more moving pieces. I can help map out the itinerary, transportation, accommodations & timing so you’re not spending half the trip figuring out where you’re supposed to be next.

  • Absolutely. If you want to use points, miles or credit card perks for part of your trip, you can. Just let me know what you plan to book with them so we can build the rest of the trip around it.

  • Yes. If you only need help with certain pieces — like the resort, accommodations or another part of your travel — reach out. We can figure out what you want help with and what you’d rather handle yourself.

  • Travel insurance may be available depending on your trip and destination. I can provide options when applicable so you can decide whether you’d like to add coverage. Coverage, exclusions & reimbursement are determined by the insurance provider, so always review the policy details before purchasing.

  • I can help point you toward the current requirements and official resources for your destination, but it’s ultimately each traveler’s responsibility to make sure they have the correct passport, visa, identification & other required travel documents before departure.

  • Reach out as soon as possible. I’ll help you navigate changes or cancellations for travel I helped arrange, but refunds, credits, cancellation fees & change policies are ultimately determined by the individual airlines, hotels, resorts, vendors and travel providers involved.

Add-ons & extras

Want to make it a little extra? From decor and favors to custom themes & personalized details, here’s what you need to know about adding a little more fun to the celebration.

  • Yes! I can help with favors, decor, signage, personalized items & all those little details that make everything feel pulled together. What’s available will depend on your celebration, timeline & what you’re looking for.

  • Yes! If you want the cute setup without sourcing everything yourself, I can help put together coordinating decor and party items that fit your theme. You handle the setup when it arrives — unless you’re booking an in-person setup service where available.

  • Nope! Many personalized items, party accessories & other extras can be purchased separately. You don’t have to be a planning client to shop with Dairyland Bach Co.

  • Pretty much anything. Coastal, disco, western, camp, something blue, tropical, classy, completely ridiculous — you name it. I can help take the idea and make the details actually coordinate instead of looking like 14 different Pinterest boards collided.

  • Please do. 😂 I love creating something different. If you have an idea, color palette, phrase or oddly specific vision in your head, send it my way and we’ll see what we can come up with.

  • Not at all. A color palette, destination or overall vibe is more than enough to work with. Not every celebration needs a catchy phrase printed on everything to feel cohesive.

  • Absolutely. Especially for weekend celebrations, different days or activities can have their own vibe. I can help make sure everything still feels intentional instead of like you planned three completely unrelated parties.

  • Yes! I can help source or create gifts, welcome items, favors & personalized goodies for your group based on your budget and overall vibe.

  • Potentially! Send me what you have and I’ll let you know if it can be used for the item you want. You’ll need to have permission or the appropriate rights to use any artwork, logos or designs you provide.

  • Those are usually my favorite ones. 😂 Tell me what you’re thinking. If it’s doable, I’ll help figure out how to make it happen — and if it’s not, we’ll find the next-best version that still brings the energy.

Service Payments & policies

The less-fun-but-important part of hiring a planner. Here’s what to know about service payments, deposits, cancellations, changes & everything in between. Looking for order, shipping or return info? You’ll find that under Shop Policies.

  • Once you’re ready to book, you’ll receive everything you need to officially secure your planning services. Your payment schedule will be clearly outlined before you commit, so you’ll know exactly what’s due and when.

  • Planning services can be paid using all major credit and debit cards or PayPal through the payment options provided on your invoice. Cash and Venmo are not accepted for Dairyland Bach Co. planning service fees.

    Once you’re a booked client, Venmo may be used for certain vendor payments when needed during the planning process. These payments are separate from your Dairyland Bach Co. service fees and are used specifically to pay outside vendors on your behalf.

  • Yes. A 30% retainer is due to book your planning services and officially reserve your spot. The remaining balance and payment due dates will be outlined in your service agreement and invoice.

  • Depending on the service and how far in advance you book, payment plans may be available. If you’d like to split up your payments, just ask before booking and I’ll let you know what options are available.

  • You or your group are responsible for all travel, accommodations, activities, vendors & other celebration expenses. Dairyland Bach Co. does not front money or cover expenses on your behalf.

    Depending on your package, I may help coordinate or facilitate certain vendor payments, but the funds must come from you or your group.

  • Your 30% retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your spot on my planning calendar. If you cancel after planning has begun, any additional payments already made may also be non-refundable depending on the work that has been completed and the terms of your service agreement.

    Any money paid toward vendors, accommodations, activities or travel is separate from Dairyland Bach Co. planning fees and is subject to each provider’s individual cancellation and refund policies.

    Your service agreement will include the full cancellation terms before you book.

  • Possibly! Life happens. If you need to change your date, reschedule or pause planning, reach out as soon as possible. What can be accommodated will depend on how much planning has already been completed, your new timeline & my availability.

  • Let me know as soon as possible. We’ll review where we are in the planning process and the cancellation terms in your agreement. Planning fees already paid may be non-refundable, and any outside vendor or travel expenses will be subject to that provider’s individual cancellation policy.

  • Unfortunately, the flaky friend is outside my jurisdiction. 😂 If your group size changes, let me know as soon as possible and I’ll help adjust the plan where we can.

    At the beginning of the planning process, we’ll discuss how your group wants to handle individual payments and financial responsibility if someone drops out or can no longer attend, so everyone knows what to expect from the start.

    Changes to individual costs, accommodations, reservations or vendor pricing will depend on what has already been booked. Once something has been paid for or reserved, refunds aren’t always available, and the remaining group may be responsible for any difference in cost.

  • Just reach out! I’ll do my best to accommodate changes or additional requests. What’s possible will depend on timing, availability & the work involved. Additional fees may apply, but I’ll always let you know about any added cost before moving forward.

Shop Payments & policies

The less-fun-but-important part of hiring a planner. Here’s what to know about service payments, deposits, cancellations, changes & everything in between. Looking for order, shipping or return info? You’ll find that under Shop Policies.

  • The Dairyland Bach Co. shop accepts all major credit and debit cards, PayPal and any additional payment options shown at checkout. Shop purchases are separate from planning service payments.

  • Processing times vary depending on the product. Your estimated processing time will be emailed to you after your order is placed.

    As a general guideline:

    • Drinkware, apparel & most personalized items: approximately 1 week

    • Party packs: approximately 3–4 weeks

    • Cards & select paper goods: approximately 2 business days

    Custom or larger orders may require additional time, and I’ll let you know if your order falls outside these typical timelines.

    Processing time does not include shipping time, so please keep your event or travel date in mind when ordering.

  • Shipping options and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout when available. Once your order leaves Dairyland Bach Co., carrier delays may be outside of my control.

    If you’re ordering for a specific celebration or trip, I always recommend ordering early rather than testing the shipping gods. 😂

  • Because sometimes things don’t work out — and that’s okay, babe.

    We want you to absolutely love your order, but if something’s not quite right, here’s what you need to know:

    Shirts & Apparel:
    Our apparel is made-to-order just for you! While we don’t offer refunds, unworn and unwashed non-personalized apparel may be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit only. Return shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your credit.

    Personalized & Custom Items:
    Because these items are made specifically for you, personalized and custom products are final sale and non-refundable.

    Jewelry & Accessories:
    For hygiene reasons, jewelry, hair accessories & other personal accessories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

    Cards & Paper Goods:
    Due to the nature of these items, all cards and stationery products are final sale and non-refundable.

    If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect due to an error on our end, reach out — we’ll make it right.

  • Email aly@dairylandbachco.com with your order number and reason for the return.

    If your item is eligible for return, we’ll send you return instructions and the return shipping address.

    Once your return is received and inspected, your store credit will be issued as a digital gift card.

    Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • We currently do not offer traditional exchanges, as most of our items are made-to-order just for you!

    If your shirt doesn’t fit quite right or you changed your mind on the vibe, no worries — you can return your unworn, unwashed item within 30 days for store credit (shipping not included). Then you can use that credit to place a new order in the right size or style!

    Pro tip: If you’re unsure on sizing, reach out before placing your order — we’re happy to help!

    Custom and personalized items are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or credit.

  • If you need to change or cancel an order, contact me as soon as possible. Once a personalized or made-to-order item has entered production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

  • Most personalized items require a personalization questionnaire to be completed before production. This is where you’ll provide names, dates, colors, wording & any other details needed for your order.

    For items requiring design approval, you’ll receive a proof to review before production begins. Please check everything carefully — including the information you originally submitted.

    Customers are responsible for providing accurate information on their questionnaire and approving their final proof. Dairyland Bach Co. is not responsible for errors that were submitted incorrectly by the customer or approved on the final proof.

    If Dairyland Bach Co. makes an error that differs from the information you submitted and approved, or if your item arrives damaged or defective, I’ll make it right.
